Diagnosis

Hoon was diagnosed with Cruciate Ligament Disease last week. To diagnose, the doctor did a knee tap, blood tests, and several X-Rays. The bill was over $900.00, so that hurt. This is especially frustrating because he has been repeatedly misdiagnosed over the last year, costing time and money. We are going to cover whatever we cant raise from donations. Hoon Today

Hoon is doing pretty good today, although he has learned how to walk mostly on his front legs. He is pretty doped up and not eating very well, but is in good spirits. He was out and about in the yard today, looking for squirrels. Some days are better than others for him. I think it has a lot to do with the weather and inflammation in his joints. But we are enjoying some good days, after a hellish week for him. Thanks for checking in and your support.

Hoon D. Congdon

Hoon is our beloved 2 1/2 year old Great Dane. This week he was diagnosed with Cruciate Ligament Disease in both of his hind legs. Surgery is much more than we can afford. We want to give Hoon a chance to live his life to the fullest. He is such a sweet, gentle boy. He loves his family and he loves his dog sister, Harley. We are reaching out to our friends and neighbors in the hope that we may save our dog. Surgery will cost $5,000. My hope is that we can raise enough money to pay for Hoon's surgery. My dream is we can raise more than enough money to pay for his surgery, and donate the surplus to another dog in need.
Please follow Hoon and his family as we head down the path of recovery. We thank you for your love and support!
